Happy Birthday Sheena Easton!

I am blessed that I grew up in the 80's, let's face it, some of the most incredible music came out of this decade. After my first encounter with Barbra in 1979, Sheena made such an impact on me in 1981, that I followed her career faithfully throughout the decades. I can honestly say, I was obsessed with her at 15 years old. I couldn't wait to see what she would do next, as she would change her look for each Album released, and that is kind of lost with today's generation. And not to mention, the killer voice, that just seemed to get stronger and stronger as each year passed. I was lucky to see her for the first time in Concert when I was 16 years old in 1982 and I probably seen her 2 dozen times live. At 25 years old, she was the first person to crack the top 5 on five of the Major Billboard charts and still the ONLY artist to sing the credits on screen in a James Bond Movie. A ton of other accomplishments throughout the decades, and I love the 'don't take shit' attitude in some of her interviews. I learned a lot from Sheena and I carry that with me when I hit the stage and in my personal life. HAPPY 57th Birthday Sheena!!!!
